All About Laziness :
It is the desire to be idle, to do nothing, and to resist effort.
Sometimes we enjoy being a little lazy like after working hard for several hours.
When we stay in bed on a very cold day.
If doing nothing occurs too often then something has to be done about it.
we must learn how to overcome laziness to work efficiently, live to the fullest and achieve success.
Laziness can complicate our lives.
When doing even the most basic actions.
Such as cleaning and washing dishes are associated with the non-human effort of will, it is time to think about how to overcome laziness.
Start With Small Step :
The hardest thing is often to simply get started.
Starting with little things will help yourself “warm up” to cheer up and gain strength for larger and more significant achievements.
Breaking a task into several smaller tasks can solve this problem.
Then, each one will not seem so difficult or intimidating.
Instead of having one big task we will have a series of small tasks.
Which do not require too much effort?
Start with just taking a small step forward:
- Go out running for only 3 minutes.
- Do the dishes for 5 minutes.
This will tend to melt much of the laziness and inner resistance we often experience.
Motivate Yourself :
The method is very effective in the struggle with laziness!
When you feel that you’ve perhaps been too lazy lately it’s common and tempting to beat yourself up about it.
That may lead you to start taking action.
Determine for yourself an amount of work, and then set a reward with a small thing that you love most.
Maybe with nail polish or candy.
You can strengthen your motivation through affirmations, visualization and thinking about the importance of performing your task or achieving your goal.
Split Your Goals and Focus :
Get on it right away to get into an effective and focused mindset.
When the target is visible, the way to it takes much less time.
Any task can be broken down into smaller subtasks.
Focus on doing one thing at a time.
If you feel you have a lot to do then you will probably feel overwhelmed and let laziness overcome you instead of you overcome laziness.
To increase the efficiency of this method combine it with the previous one – do not forget to reward yourself after achieving each sub-goal.
Think About Benefits :
Think about the benefits you will gain if you overcome laziness and take action, instead of thinking about the difficulties or obstacles.
Your imagination has a great influence on your mind, habits and action.
Visualize yourself performing the task easily, energetically and enthusiastically.
It is important that you focus your mind and attention on the benefits and not on the difficulties.
Thinking about the consequences of not acting, can also push you to take action.
Do so before starting with a task or goal, and also when you feel lazy, or when your mind whispers to you to abandon what you are doing.
Learn From Successful Persons :
Watch successful people and how they do not let laziness win.
Learn from them, talk with them and associate with them.
Overcoming the habit of laziness is achieved through a series of daily actions and activities.
When you choose to act instead of remaining passive.
Every time you overcome laziness and you get stronger.
Every time you choose to act, you increase your ability to win, achieve goals and improve your life.
